LunaDNA has established a process to protect our members from unfair and fraudulent submission of survey data, which is more susceptible than other forms of data. As part of this process, and in addition to our security steps during account creation and data quality control checks, we require information to establish provenance - that is proof that you are a real person with real data. We will accept four forms of information to establish provenance: (1) a DNA file, (2) a connected physician's portal, (3) your social security number, or (4) additional data contributed via an approved LunaPBC parter (see www.lunapbc.com for more information on our current partners).
Currently, on our platform we enable provenance via a DNA file or connected physician's portal. As we near our first dividend disbursement, we will also begin accepting social security numbers. We do not have any approved partners at this time from whom we will establish provenance.
