The following instructions describe how to download your entire RAW DATA file from 23andMe. Note: 23andMe also has other options to download pieces of your data. The RAW DATA is the most useful for follow on research.
Step 1: Sign into your 23andMe account. Sign In button is in the top right corner.
Step 2: Navigate to your account options. On the top right you should see your name. Click on the arrow to the right of your name. From the drop down list select, "Browse Raw Data".
Step 3: Once you select "Browse Raw Data" you will see this screen (see below). Next click "Download" (to the right of "Browse" just under the top navigation bar or click the blue "download" in the sentence beneath "Your Raw Data". Both will take you to the correct place).
Step 4: After clicking "Download" you will see this screen (see below). Scroll all the way to the bottom.
Step 5: After you scroll to the bottom, you will see the following section (see below). Click on "Submit Request" (blue button). 23andMe will submit your request and you will receive an email (to the the email that you have provided to 23andMe as part of your 23andMe settings) once your raw data file is available.
Step 6: Follow the instructions in the email you receive from 23andMe, to complete download of your data to your own computer.
